Nice trip, it looks like. Thanks for posting the pics. Reminds me of camping trips we would take when I was in college (too many years ago) during Fall break. This was in Kentucky, though, not Arizona. Looks beautiful where you were! If you do more camping, please post more pics about your experiences. - John

Probably just best wishes at this stage. We're planning to start a family next year and I guess I'm just too excited to keep it contained. :)

Wow! I love this - had never heard of it! And it also sounds like I'm a bit behind in some of the awesome things you have going on or are preparing for. Best wishes/congrats/ or whatever is appropriate at this stage. ;)

I also have sleep paralysis. I have it a few times a month and it happens when I least expect it and sometimes when I do. It happens when I sleep in any position (my back, stomach, side) on the bed, couch, and floor. Even the weirdest thing is it happens at any time of the day or night. At first I was scared to even sleep at all. Usually people think that if it's light out your safe...not neccessarily for me. In fact, it happened most when I took afternoon naps.
First I hear a distant sound like foot steps or chairs being pushed in (when I know no one's home) as if they were there all the time and during SP is the only time I notice the presence. The footsteps always draw nearer and I hear grunting usually from a man and mumbling. I can only move my eyes around and when I try to speak the sound is barely over a whisper no matter how hard I push. I can't lift a finger or lift my head to see what's coming closer towards me. I used to think it was a spirit of my dad or brother visiting me but each time I get a different feeling. Somethings a deep dread and sometimes peace it's weird. The scary thing is I'm usually never touched until recently. I took a nap in front of the TV and "woke up" in the middle of the night. As soon as a I woke up I felt pulling sensation on my arm. I couldn't move and it kept tugging but I would only shake along with the tugging. I remember my arm up in the air but I couldn't look up to see who was tugging. All the while I hear my mom snoring in the other room while this person (woman this time) is mumbling loudly and unintelligently.
My first experinece was at 10 in the morning and I was on my back and I could see a little girl by my door just sitting there looking at me. It was really sunny so sunny that I could see my eyelashes.
One early morning my dog was sleeping with me and she didn't even wake up as I was hoping she would. It was a man and he was walking around mumbling and stomping I heard him fall on the couch and even scratch himself. During Sleep paralysis my hearing is magnified. At times I even get out of body experiences and I promise i don't do drugs or tke any pills or meds. I've done alot of research on it but nothing is quite similar to my experiences. Please someone reply...it's getting worse.

Kristi,

I can totally relate to this post. I've always been the type of person that would do anything to help others. That's just the person that I am. But my husband warns me regularly that I shouldn't maintain certain friendships with people that only call me when they need something. He gets really upset when he sees this happening. Recently, I've began standing up for myself with a few of these "friends". It turned out that once they noticed that I'm not a pushover any longer, they deemed our friendship irrelevant. I guess they're out looking for other victims that they could take advantage of. At the end of the day, I feel sorry for these individuals, because they repel people away from them, which will lead to very lonely lives.
